I was one of the few "laboring"...
...just a day in the life of nursing!
I was a slave at UNC Hospital working Sunday and Monday! Sunday I worked in my normal unit Surgery/Trauma Intensive Care and I picked up a extra shift Monday in the Medicine Intensive Care (MICU). I tell everyone that the MICU is my overtime spot of choice. It's something about getting out of your regular unit, interacting with different nurses, doctors and patients. It's a nice change!
Afterward Mondays shift, my nurse friend Mike and I decompressed with dinner at Milltown in Carrboro!! Delicious!
